Pastors Derek and Stacey Melton pioneered Pryor ON Fire Teen Ministries in 1991 with a heart to reach the troubled youth of our generation with the saving message of Jesus Christ. This vision took shape and teens began meeting in a small classroom south of Pryor. After a short time that small classroom was outgrown and the meetings were moved to the Fraternal Order of Police building East of Pryor. The ministry met weekly in that building and after two years was outgrown and the ministry was moved to the Pryor Youth Organization building in Pryor. The ministry continued to expand and grow as Thunderbird Youth Academy began to bus their cadets to the services weekly to join with the youth of Pryor. In January of 1999 Pastors Derek and Stacey felt burdened by the Lord to start an additional ministry for adults Many adults were coming to the teen services and God laid it upon Pastor's heart that these adults needed a shepherd. Pryor Creek Community Church was born out of this burden. The ministry was then moved to 110 E. Graham where the ministry has purchased two properties giving the ministry 14,000 sq. ft. and a sanctuary that will seat over 250 and the ministry is there today.

Pastors Derek and Stacey continue to have a heavy burden for the troubled youth of our generation and minister to 150-200 teenagers several times per week. Pryor Creek Community Church also is thriving in our city and many families have found their place in the body and are growing stronger in the Lord with each passing week. Pastors Derek and Stacey have been given a message that prepares the body of Christ to excel in their unique gifts and graces given to them by the Lord that the body of Christ might be one with each-other as well as with the Lord. Pastor Derek has been given a gift to minister strong "repentance" messages that stir the hearts of God's people to live upright, righteous and holy lives that are pleasing to the Lord. These messages challenge the body of Christ to become disentangled with this present evil world and to lay aside the sins that "beset" us and to run the race that has been set before us for the high call of Christ. Pastor Stacey has been given a unique "teaching" gift that helps the newest believer understand the message of Jesus Christ. She teaches with love, compassion and authority. Stacey has a powerful anointing to teach practical Christian precepts, such as parenting, marriage and godly character. There is a "true" love in the hearts of the members for each-other that is rarely found in modern church bodies as well as a deep love for Jesus Christ.
